The Puducherry Silambam & Adimurai Association is a duly registered and recognized body functioning with the objective of promoting, regulating, and developing the traditional martial arts of Silambam and Adimurai within the Union Territory of Puducherry.
The Puducherry Silambam & Adimurai Association is an affiliated member of the All India Silambam Federation (AISF). The All India Silambam Federation is a statutory body, duly registered under the provisions of the law, and is actively engaged in the development of the sport of Silambam across India and overseas.
The All India Silambam Federation has more than 26 affiliated State Associations across the country and works in coordination with various national and international federations and associations to promote Silambam at multiple levels. Through these affiliations, Silambam athletes are provided opportunities to participate in State, National, South Asian, Asian, and World Championship events periodically.
In line with the vision and technical standards of the All India Silambam Federation, the Puducherry Silambam & Adimurai Association conducts district and state-level championships, selection trials, coaching camps, and training programmes, aimed at identifying and nurturing young talent and ensuring systematic growth of the sport.
The All India Silambam Federation, taking into account its sincere and consistent efforts in developing Silambam as a competitive sport, has played a key role in achieving national recognition for Silambam. The School Games Federation of India (SGFI) has recognized Silambam as a discipline at the national level and has conducted National Games Championships, for which the All India Silambam Federation has provided technical support.
Both the All India Silambam Federation and its affiliated units, including the Puducherry Silambam & Adimurai Association, maintain proper and audited accounts, ensuring transparency and adherence to statutory norms. அகில இந்திய சிலம்பம் சம்மேளனத்திற்கு, நாட்டின் பல மாநிலங்களில் 26-க்கும் மேற்பட்ட மாநில சங்கங்கள் இணைக்கப்பட்டுள்ளன. மேலும், பல தேசிய மற்றும் சர்வதேச சம்மேளனங்கள் மற்றும் அமைப்புகளுடன் இணைந்து, சிலம்பம் விளையாட்டை மாநில, தேசிய மற்றும் சர்வதேச நிலைகளில் வளர்த்தெடுத்து வருகிறது.

சிலம்பத்தை ஒரு போட்டித் திறன் கொண்ட விளையாட்டாக உருவாக்குவதில் அகில இந்திய சிலம்பம் சம்மேளனம் மேற்கொண்ட தொடர்ச்சியான மற்றும் நேர்மையான முயற்சிகளின் காரணமாக, சிலம்பத்திற்கு தேசிய அங்கீகாரம் கிடைக்க முக்கிய பங்கு வகித்துள்ளது.
பள்ளி விளையாட்டு சம்மேளனம் – இந்தியா (SGFI), சிலம்பத்தை தேசிய அளவில் ஒரு விளையாட்டு பிரிவாக அங்கீகரித்து, தேசிய விளையாட்டு போட்டிகளை நடத்தியுள்ளது. இந்தப் போட்டிகளுக்கு அகில இந்திய சிலம்பம் சம்மேளனம் தொழில்நுட்ப ஆதரவை வழங்கியுள்ளது.
அகில இந்திய சிலம்பம் சம்மேளனமும், அதனுடன் இணைக்கப்பட்டுள்ள அனைத்து அலகுகளும் (புதுச்சேரி சிலம்பம் & அடிமுறை சங்கம் உட்பட), முறையான மற்றும் கணக்காய்வு செய்யப்பட்ட நிதி கணக்குகளை பராமரித்து, வெளிப்படைத்தன்மை மற்றும் சட்டப்பூர்வ நடைமுறைகளை பின்பற்றுகின்றன. தேவையான தகவல்கள் மற்றும் அறிவிப்புகள் அதிகாரப்பூர்வ இணையதளங்கள் மற்றும் தகவல் தொடர்பு வழிகளின் மூலம் வெளியிடப்படுகின்றன.

L’Association de Silambam et d’Adimurai de Puducherry est un organisme dûment enregistré et reconnu, œuvrant avec pour objectif de promouvoir, réglementer et développer les arts martiaux traditionnels du Silambam et de l’Adimurai au sein du Territoire de l’Union de Puducherry.
L’Association de Silambam et d’Adimurai de Puducherry est un membre affilié de la Fédération Indienne de Silambam (All India Silambam Federation – AISF). La Fédération Indienne de Silambam est un organisme statutaire, dûment enregistré conformément aux dispositions légales, et elle s’implique activement dans le développement du sport du Silambam en Inde ainsi qu’à l’étranger.
La Fédération Indienne de Silambam compte plus de 26 associations d’États affiliées à travers le pays et collabore avec diverses fédérations et associations nationales et internationales afin de promouvoir le Silambam à plusieurs niveaux. Grâce à ces affiliations, les athlètes de Silambam bénéficient d’opportunités pour participer régulièrement à des compétitions de niveau étatique, national, sud-asiatique, asiatique et mondial.
Conformément à la vision et aux normes techniques de la Fédération Indienne de Silambam, l’Association de Silambam et d’Adimurai de Puducherry organise des championnats de district et d’État, des épreuves de sélection, des camps d’entraînement et des programmes de formation, visant à identifier et à encadrer les jeunes talents et à assurer une croissance structurée du sport.
La Fédération Indienne de Silambam, compte tenu de ses efforts sincères et constants pour développer le Silambam en tant que sport de compétition, a joué un rôle clé dans l’obtention de la reconnaissance nationale du Silambam. La Fédération des Jeux Scolaires de l’Inde (SGFI) a reconnu le Silambam comme une discipline au niveau national et a organisé des championnats nationaux, pour lesquels la Fédération Indienne de Silambam a fourni un soutien technique.
La Fédération Indienne de Silambam ainsi que toutes ses unités affiliées, y compris l’Association de Silambam et d’Adimurai de Puducherry, maintiennent des comptes financiers appropriés et audités, garantissant la transparence et le respect des normes statutaires.
